Pilates
Pilates is a method of movement designed to strengthen the body from the inside out. At its core, Pilates focuses on posture, alignment, and mindful breathwork, helping you build long, lean muscles without bulk. The exercises target the deep stabilizing muscles of the core, improving strength, balance, and overall body awareness. Pilates also supports spinal health and joint mobility, making it an effective practice for both strength and recovery.

Barre
Barre is inspired by ballet technique and blends elements of dance, Pilates, and strength training into a dynamic, low-impact workout. Classes emphasize small, controlled movements and high repetitions that create strength and definition without bulk. While its foundation comes from ballet, no dance experience is required — Barre is designed for everyone. The focus is especially on core, legs, and glutes, helping to sculpt and tone while improving posture, endurance, and overall stability.

Yoga
Yoga is a practice that unites the body and mind through movement, breath, and intention. Each class blends poses and sequences that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and inner calm. Whether it’s a flowing vinyasa, a slower restorative session, or a heated yoga practice, yoga supports both physical resilience and mental clarity. Beyond the physical benefits, yoga helps reduce stress and encourages presence on and off the mat.

Meet the Owner
Ashley Dias is a dedicated fitness leader and Central Coast native who brings over a decade of expertise to FiT Höuse Studios. A Cal Poly alumna with a background in psychology and dance, Ashley combines her deep understanding of movement with a passion for building empowering community spaces. Having successfully co-founded and operated Oak and Iron in Santa Maria, she now steps into ownership at FiT Höuse with a mission to preserve its intimate, sanctuary-like atmosphere. Specializing in Barre, strength training, and women’s wellness, Ashley is committed to fostering a supportive environment where every member feels inspired to move with purpose and confidence
Meet the Founder
A first-generation Latina entrepreneur and Nipomo native, Maricruz Sanchez founded FiT Höuse Studios as a sanctuary for movement and connection in her hometown. Drawing on an entrepreneurial spirit sparked by selling tamales with her parents, Sanchez built the studio alongside her other community-focused venture, Bubbles & Tea Coffeehouse.
In early 2026, Sanchez transitioned ownership of FiT Höuse Studios to Ashley Dias to focus on her family and new ventures. While she has passed the torch of the studio, her vision for a vibrant, walkable, and small-business-friendly Old Towne Nipomo remains.
